Adventure To Hell And Back... CONQUERED.
So I decided to run through Adventure To Hell And Back once again, and this time... SUCCESS.
And here's my proof. So what about the treasure, is there any at all? In fact... yes!
As you can probably see, I was a little paranoid going in at first since the walls have those arrow dispensers on them, but fortunately none of them went off. So what are in the chests? Well the left one is full of diamonds while the right one is full of gold.
I'm gonna record a video of how to beat the map (possibly tonight) for those who are stuck or don't know what to do. With all that said, this map is officially conquered and it's time to move on to the next one.
Oh, and I think I found my new favorite saying.

Tower of TNT
....This is what happens when you stay up past 3'oclock playing Minecraft. This project just came to be after we were messing around with TNT and I kept packing down TNT. Eventually we built it up and this beauty of a structure was born. And then destroyed shortly after. A tear rolled down my eye as we flicked the switch and watched it crumble before us. RIP Tower of TNT.
.... Also this was on the Adventure To Hell And Back map. REVEEENGE.
Here is the video of the detonation:
Here are a few before and after pics. Click on them to view them at a larger size.

Adventure To Hell And Back
Adventure To Hell And Back is a custom map created for Minecraft. Obviously. Yaddie ya no one wants to hear a boring intro or review for this thing so I will skip to the chase. This was a well designed map and offered some really fun elements.... until you die and have to go back to the very beginning, which I didn't find amusing or entertaining at all. I recorded myself doing my first run-through of the map, and needless to say it could of been way better. I was tired and not really in a good mood when I was recording it, so I don't sound too excited or enthusiastic about doing it. I'll definitely re-record it in the future, and this time going through the WHOLE thing.
If you saw my video and haven't played the map for yourself yet, you're probably wondering what happens next. Well the arrows part where I got killed was.... retarded. They only make you do hard mode right there and as soon as you pass it they make you put it back on easy. So it's not worth dying and going all the way back to the start for. So leave it on peace and run to the other side as quickly as possible. Soon after you escape the mines in a minecart just as it begns to collapse. You begin to cross a bridge when it explodes on you, so you have no choice but to continue on foot to a golden pyramid. Here they tell you the only way to progress is by answering riddles, but getting them wrong will get you stuck. They warn you to make a backup save because you really do get stuck with no way out. Now... let me explain something. Most people usually save right before they do something cause it'll start them at that point in case something bad happens, its a common thing to do. How do you save on Minecraft? You go to the game menu and it automatically saves for you (usually by pressing ESC). So on my second riddle I get it wrong, luckily I saved before this. But out of habit.... I press ESC instead of doing something like ALT F4. WHOOPS. Now Im imprisoned in this room forever. And Im sure I'm not the only one who did this either. The idea of it is a good one... but please don't mess up like I did or you have to re-do EVERYTHING.
Anyways, I'll post a link to everything, from videos to download of the map. Look out for a second attempt at conquering this map as well as.... other stuff.

Journal of a Miner...
Darkness. That was all I could remember as I began to regain my conscious. Have you ever woke up in a strange place, only to realize you don't remember the event before? I can say that I have now.... it's in the middle of the day and I wake up in a unfamiliar place, surrounded by trees and wild life. What happened? Where am I? How did I get here? These questions ran through my mind repeatedly as I began to explore the area, hoping to find a trail or something that would lead me back home....
....Or something along those lines. If you have been reading my blogs then you should know that I decided on not doing the Journal of a Miner. While to me it seemed like a pretty cool idea, and I may continue it again down the road if people want me to, but I think people won't really be interested in a story that's based off the gameplay of Minecraft. I had up to 3 in-game days worked out with pictures and everything, so I'll probably just post what I accomplished. I am going to keep the world I was working however, posting random updates on the stuff I find or do in the game. And I will do it all legit, no codes, mods, or anything.
Also I'm trying to get my own server going if you would like to join me sometime and we'll build stuff together. Or destroy it. Whatever we feel like. The problem is no one can join my server, no matter how many times I port forward or anything. I was recommended to use McAdmin for this kind of thing but I have yet to check it out (maybe today I will?).
So anyways... here's some pictures on what I was doing for the whole "Journal of a Miner" thing.

Woke up in a strange place dude...
Found a cave. Possible shelter?
Need wood for tools.
Work Bench in first shelter
Diggin for resources.
Found some coal underwater
Sun goes down on first day
The second day begins....
Shelter is almost finished
Inside of the shelter
Sheep outside of the shelter
Walls of the shelter are finished
A pack of wolves playing near the shelter
From what I understand, a lot of people actually haven't seen what wolves look like in the game yet. The same goes for rain as well. Well... here you go, a picture of a wolf up close with some of his buddies. You can tame them by feeding them bones or pork chops.
Installed some torches.
Sun goes down on the second day
I hear strange noises outside.
Morning comes, and whatever was making those sounds last night is not there anymore.
I decided to expand this part of the shelter.
My workshop.
Expanding.
Sun goes down on the third day.
I spot some sugar canes in the distance as I make my way back to the shelter. I'll farm them in the morning.
Update on the shelter. Time to get some rest...
Aaaaaand that's all I have for ya. Like I said I'll actually do the story only if people will find it interesting enough to read. I'll be playing around in this world though and post updates.
So what will I actually be doing in this blog? Stuff. Minecraft stuff. Projects, maps, videos, etc. I'll be posting about the random adventures I have when I play Minecraft. I'll be doing videos as well, whether it's messing around in our server or doing a run-through on custom maps.
I think that's all I have to say for now, but keep checking back for updates. Later everyone!
